THE EXPERT IN ANYTHING WAS ONCE A BEGINNER
Royal Conservatory of Music
Wonder School of Music and Arts recommends and encourages their students to participate in The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum - one of the best designed and most comprehensive music programs in the world.
Each year, more than 100,000 students across North America participate in the RCM examinations. Wonder School of Music and Arts prepares students for RCM exams in piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola and cello.
Theory Examinations are designed to complement practical studies, and begin at the Grade 5 practical level. Our school offers private or semi-private classes to ensure comprehensive knowledge of subjects like rudiments, counterpoint, music history, harmony and analysis.
All Ontario students who have achieved a passing mark on the grade VII or VIII RCM exam are eligible to use them as an high school-equivalent credits. Those students who successfully complete the RCM curriculum are transformed into mature professionals, ready to pursue a further mastery of music.
Before applying for an RCM examination, student/parents must discuss this decision with their instructors.
